Hours of Operation
We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We are also open Saturdays between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. Our Saturdays are designed for fleet accounts and special need customers.
We rotate our Technicians every Third Saturday to accommodate our customers and our technicians. We have a large 16 bay state-of-the-art service facility and perform a wide range of service, everything from engine swaps to oil changes.
Airpark Auto has a staff of 18, nine technicians, one light duty lube technicians, two service managers, one parts person, a shuttle driver, a janitor and three administrative and customer service personnel.
In the summer, we are always booked at least a week in advance and during the winter we are always booked at least one or two days in advance. We repair approximately 10k cars and trucks per year, which is 192 per week or 38 per day.
Shop Awards
Airpark Auto Service is an AAA approved auto repair shop. We are constantly graded by our customers and must maintain a satisfaction index of 92% or greater. We currently have an annual customer satisfaction rating of 100%.
AAA also mandates that the repair shops be ASE Certified in all areas where work is performed. Airpark Auto Service is an AC/Delco Key Service Center. This alliance brings factory training and resources not available to a lot of other independent shops. Airpark Auto Service is an ASA member and a Car Care Center.
Technicians
All of our technicians are ASE certified and most are Masters. Each of our technicians specialize in two or three makes of vehicles. We have technicians that specialize in imports, domestics and truck repairs and we try to dispatch the work that best suits their abilities and strengths. Simply put, happy techs equals happy customers.
Shop Equipment
Airpark Auto Service has five single post in-ground hoist and five twin post in-ground lifts. These lifts are alternated between bays allowing technicians to share the twin post bays when R&R work is required.
We also have two alignment racks and two 50,000 pound truck lifts. We have two engine analyzers (Bear 400 and Vetronix work stations), an OTC 5 gas im240 Analyzer and four scanners.
We have three brake lathes, (two Ammco and one on the car machine) Hunter alignment machine, tire equipment, welding equipment and many thousands of dollars in a/c, brake and specialty tools.

Compensation
Our technicians are responsible for looking-up and bidding their own labor. We pay our Technicians between 17 and 28 dollars per flat rate hour. Pay rates are based on Certifications and skill level.
We also have incentives for meeting productivity and quality quotas. Our current shop Rate is $86 dollars per hour and we sell 100% of all the available hours. Our techs make between 35k and 75k per year depending on how well they manage their time.
